Starfit – Dress You Like A Star
Project Brief
To design a new intelligent app called Starfit, based on your preferences, colours, textures, trends, and brands, we will deliver you clothing suggestions that fit your style and personality. The target of this project is to deliver high-quality services through and excellent presentation and approach.
The Problem
In the busy world that we live in today, with extended offers spread all over the place, buyers have a hard mission to dress at certain standards. They need help, and they need advice. Starfit has no competition in the market, offering trustful and specialized advice.
Design goal
Starfit wants users to have an authentic and reliable experience, clear and intuitive, based on a deep understanding of the user’s needs, preferences and market availability. Starfit is not just a regular app; it is an intelligent app based on artificial intelligence (AI) that will learn your style and what you like, be up-to-date with the trends and deliver unique solutions tailored for you.

1. Welcome & Onboarding

When the user launches the Starfit app first screens that he can see are the four Welcome screens, followed by the Onboarding screen. The four welcome screens rotate various offers and discounts that can take the user to these featured products. An important feature I saw necessary is the skip button in case the user is not interested in these offers.
Onboarding screen – Sign In or Join Us allows users to use the app through their profile to benefit from their personal information. As I mentioned, AI technology will help the app display meaningful content based on the user that is signed in.

One of the essential features of Starfit is collecting users’ preferences. The app keeps safe storing and encrypting the user’s personal information. Users will be asked what their preferences are about the colours, textures, materials, and brands they like. The Starfit app will collaborate with other specific information like size and the context of using the outfit and will deliver personalized outfit results.
The advanced app intelligence based on market availability and personal preferences will display individual clothing items or full outfit suggestions.
4. Pick Your Clothing

After the user provides the required information, Starfit will display results based on season, events and offers. Imagine that you don’t have to go places and search for outfits but have an assistant that can offer effective and personalized advice. Users’ ability to choose won’t be affected; they will choose from a pool of already selected options, ensuring they will save time and money and enjoy a stress-free experience.

5. Social Media Integration

Studies revealed that Social Media integration is something users enjoy using the Starfit app. Sharing the outfits users like with the close ones is necessary for some users. Some like a second opinion and some like to get a like and approval.
Starfit offers a robust platform where you can promote yourself, your achievements, and your style and tastes.
6. Reach & Classy Approach

7. Style Guide
Bold colours and minimalist icons paired with an intuitive application
Based on research, I decided on two primary colours – Gold and Blue – to portray to the prior users – Men and Women. Additional colours are coming to sustain and accent the direct colour approach. The picked fonts cover the two main directions – Serif and Sans Serif. As a designer, I feel that Serif fonts are more feminine, and Sans Serif fonts are more masculine. This kind of approach puts the two directions in one is portrayed in the logo, making the app a good platform for inclusivity and individuality.
My decisions were motivated by helping your preferences to create a style that surpasses sex, personality and individuality. Artificial intelligence will go above and beyond and understand you and, even if you prefer a mixed or personalized approach, will be able to see how technology will follow your preferences and style.
