Vitality Water – The Essence of Life

Professional Project

Vitality is the source of live

Corporate Identity

Project: At the beginning of the year, I was contacted for a project that would showcase mineral water in 1L bottles, and I needed to come up with a name, logo, stationary, and promotional object application and showcase a possible case – a mineral water bottle.

Brand name creation: For the brand name, I started with the idea that water is the primary element of life and is vital for any form of life. Water satisfies thirst and refreshes on a hot day, giving energy and nutrients to the body. Water is necessary because it creates an extraordinary sentiment of liveliness, energy and vitality. Vitality is the ultimate pure, mineral water from the Carpathians Mountains and annihilates any thirst.

Design goal: To create a feeling that you need that mineral water because it is Vital for you, and you need that Vitality that this water will give you. The branding was created showing bubble from the mineral water and drops that is a small part of each water.

Role: Visual Designer

Logo Development & Composition

Once the name was picked – Vitality – I moved to create the first sketches and to see what elements I’ll use in the logo creation. Water drops and water bubbles are the elements that I wanted to use to show the essential features that promote the message that the Vitality brand is about water and air.

I picked IvyPresto Display Semibold as a very clean and elegant serif font that shows stability and visibility. Letter V was stylized to show a volumetric 2 direction, and the bottom of it, a very nice drop, was formed. The blue and teal colours bring life and style to the name and font.

Logo Treatment – Print & Screen Printing

Vitality is four colour logo that can be printed in Pantone or CMYK. I prepared a two-colour process or even one colour for other applications to save money for packaging or other promotional materials. The logo works as an icon and a complete logo in one, two or four colours. That is why the logo needs well done from the beginning because it will fix in time in users’ and clients’ minds, and a redesign might confuse them later.

The gradient logo can be the best option for traditional printing and digital and web solutions. But one or two colours can be a better solution for screen printing for signs, packaging and clothing. A flat logo solution can be good for vehicle lettering and signs.

Each business must address all these needs adequately, and a professional approach will anticipate the needs and incorporate into the logo the proper treatment.

Stationery and More… Even App Design

Design has a prominent part in our lives, whether we want it or not, if we realize it or not. We prefer good-looking products instead the ones that blend with no personality. As a designer, I like to put together a plan to address the needs of a business at the beginning or come up with solutions at any time.

Learn to trust and need a designer, an agency, or even a creative department in your company. Esthetic pleasing products will stand out from the crowd of your competition and present a consistent and clear message.

Vitality Mineral Water has a good start, having the icon, logo, stationery, packaging, product bottle designed, and even an app icon for a future native app and bases put for a future website.

Package Design – Bottle Concept & Bottles Boxes

For the bottle design, I picked a transparent bottle with no colour at all. The text colours are the screen printed on the bottle, and no paper label is on the bottle. The minimum necessary information is on the front, and the back, just the information we need. Nothing more or less.

This time the iconic V with the bubbles plays a separate part, and the Vitality logo has a prominent central place. Bottle wise and the source of mineral water are conveniently placed to let the logo breathe.

I can say and display more of the design process and approach, but I’ll stick with this.
